PREVENTION PROTOCOL

My priority is always to provide great pet portraits in a safe manner.

Pet portrait photography by its nature makes it easy for you to be safe, especially in a private studio. There’s not many “moving parts”, no assistants involved, nobody showing up unannounced etc.

  • I limit my bookings to a maximum of two sessions per day. (One morning session, one afternoon)

  • It’s a private, appointment-only studio with very minimal foot traffic, usually just a couple of people per day, and usually not at the same time.

  • The studio is disinfected between every client.

  • Any person/animal who has felt unwell, or has been in contact with anybody who has felt unwell, must reschedule at a later date.

What cleaning products do I use?

I use the same products in my studio that my Veterinarian uses. Virox is a Canadian company based out of Oakville.

Virox Animal Health™ Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide® disinfectants kill a broad-spectrum of pathogens in rapid contact times while remaining gentle on users, animals, materials and the environment.

What is AHP®?

Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide® (AHP®) is a globally patented, synergistic blend of commonly used ingredients that when combined with low levels of Hydrogen Peroxide produce exceptional potency as a germicide and performance as a cleaner.

Powerful disinfectants are easy to formulate, however they are often quite toxic. The challenge is to remain potent AND minimize toxicity. AHP® has accomplished this like no other disinfectant currently on the market today.

AHP® is a Deliberately Different™ Disinfectant alternative to legacy chemistries that can be harsh on animals, users and the environment and can be largely ineffective against many of the key pathogens in the animal health market. AHP® is unique in its ability to help keep humans and animals free from infection, while being safer for users, patients and assets. That's what makes AHP® Deliberately Different™ and the ideal choice for veterinary practices, shelters and producers.

COVID-19 SAFETY

As the continued health and well-being of clients and your families takes priority during this time, there will be updates on actions taken to safely operate the studio.
